The Everest Basecamp Trek Via Gokyo
The Everest Base Camp Trek itself sounds exhilarating. Trekking in Nepal can be strenuous but rewarding nevertheless. The Everest Base Camp trek via Gokyo is one of the best trekking trails in Nepal. This trek will take us to the amazing Gokyo Lakes and to the base camp of Mount Everest. We begin at Lukla. The trekking trail from here is creased with a rhododendron forest. Trekking in Nepal is always marked by Rhododendron forests. The Everest Base Camp Trek also provides you with spectacular views of the Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku and Monjo peaks. We will trek further down from Pangka until we reach a stream flowing down from the west side of the valley. We will have to cross the stream and keep trekking up a rocky trail until we reach a small lake. This Trek up to the Everest Base Camp is truly adventures and gives you a good peek at what Trekking in Nepal is all about.
